The Grenaches of Scala Dei experience is designed for those who wish to delve into the world of Grenache, the most emblematic variety of Cellers de Scala Dei and, together with Carignan, of the D.O.Q. Priorat. This session offers an in‑depth look at the expression of one of the Priorat’s historic grape varieties—introduced by the Carthusian monks in the 12th century—and how it manifests in the different styles and wines produced at the winery.

During the tasting, participants sample six wines focused on red Grenache, including fresh and distinctive interpretations of whites and rosés made from this variety, blends where Grenache is combined with other grapes, and single‑vineyard reds in which Grenache shines in all its glory, reflecting the soils, altitude, and unique character of each vineyard.
